“Have courage and be kind.” These words from Disney’s live action Cinderella are the focus of my personal manifesto.
My first objective is to have courage. I want to have the courage to step out of my comfort zone. Sometimes I don’t share messages from the church on my Facebook because I have so many friends who are not members or religious at all and I don’t want them to be bothered that I’m posting a talk from General Conference and I don’t want to start any religious or political debates on any social media. However, I do want to have the courage to post messages and quotes that stand out to me, even if some of my friends disagree with it.
My second objective is to be kind. Kindness often seems lost in this world, but there are social media pages dedicated to displaying little acts of kindness and I want to be kind in all that I do- both on social media and off of social media. I don’t usually go out of my way to create kindness, but that’s what I want to be doing. I want to be as kind as possible and I want to share the joy and kindness with those around me.
My third objective is to be creative. I’m not the best at designing and it takes me time to decide what I want to do, but I love designing and I love writing and I hope that I can take more time out of my busy life and my busy schedule to dedicate towards being creative and allowing my creativity to flow.
